Welcome!

I am an upcoming Tenure-track Assistant Professor in the CS department of Utah State University. I earned my Ph.D. in CS from WSU under the supervision of Prof. Haipeng Cai. Before that, I received my B.S. in CS from HUST in China [More]. My current research interests include Software Security, Software Engineering, and Network Security and Privacy. Particularly, I aimed to develop practical techniques to ensure the security of real-world software systems.

Examples of our work

PyRtFuzz is a novel fuzzing technique/tool for holistically testing Python runtimes including the language interpreter and its runtime libraries. PyRTFuzz combines generation- and mutation-based fuzzing at the compiler- and application-testing level, respectively.
